Überlegungen zur Theorie einer molekularen Medizin
The integration of molecular medicine into the contexts of medical theory and practice raises questions about its epistemological foundations. Molecular medicine is often seen as being reductive, especially as relying on genetic determinism. The article outlines the consequences of both models for the practical contexts of molecular medicine and for the way we understand ourselves as having a free will. As a result it suggests some possibilities for integrating molecular medicine into medical theory and practice.
