Resilienz als Schutz der Würde für professionell ambulant Pflegende - (K)ein Thema?
The protection of the dignity of professional nurses in the field of ambulant care is a presupposition for respectful and person-centred caregiving. The defencelessness of those working in the field of ambulant care can lead to a violation of their dignity. The concept of resilience seems to offer a possibility for self-protection to professional caregivers. However, when applying this concept one needs to be aware of presuppositions. Challenging the individual to develop resilience can only succeed if there is enabling framework. Thus the propagation of developing resilience has to be critically considered. Is it truly a real chance for professional caregivers to develop personal maturity? Or is resilience rather a disciplinary technology in order to acquire individual survival strategies in a professional field which refuses to be reformed?
